The Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty is an historic organization located in Washington DC that provides advocacy and education around issues of religious liberty. When they contacted Faithlab, they already had a corporate website that met their needs, but wanted an additional website that was optimized for sharing news and updates, as well as articles from their newsletters. It was important for this new site to function much like an app when accessed on mobile devices, but like a normal website on laptops and desktops.
Faithlab developed a WordPress site at bjcmobile.org and installed and configured a component that notices when a mobile device visits the site, in which case a custom app-like view is provided. iPad visitors get another app-like view that takes advantage of their larger screens.
